Design Center
When designing your perfect room, there are a lot of things to consider. We know the process can be overwhelming, so we are here to walk with you throughout. We have a thorough design process that considers all your options, taking your space into account, and includes a computer-generated picture of the options you decide on. This allows you to visualize the end result and make decisions accordingly. You also have complete access to our years of experience working in the cabinet and design industry.
This design center model allows our clients to create their dream spaces. When you visit our office to begin your design process, we help you work within your budget and create a design timetable based on your design choices. We can help you determine whether you should purchase your appliances, cabinets, or countertops first; the kind of paint preferable for your space; and how you’d like everything within the room to be arranged. We are here to help you achieve your vision with as little stress as possible.
Countertops
Countertops are a crucial part of any kitchen or bathroom, and we want to help you find the right countertops for your space. We partner with several local trusted countertop retailers to ensure you find the right material, size, design, and installation services for you.
Cabinets
Cabinets are our bread and butter, and we know the trade inside and out. No matter what questions you may have about arrangement, style, or installation of your cabinets, we are here to help. Don’t be overwhelmed by the number of choices available—consider all the ways you can make your custom cabinets your own.
Framework
The most fundamental choice to make about your cabinets is whether you prefer face frame or frameless units. Face frame cabinets have a wood frame on the front which makes them more secure and stronger, but can limit access inside the cabinet. Frameless cabinets utilize their doors as face frames, freeing up space and giving the units a cleaner look with tighter reveal lines around doors and drawers.
Colors
The two most common ways to give cabinets their color are staining and painting. We have an almost limitless number of available stains (which we mix in-house), all of which bring out the natural beauty of the wood your cabinets are made of. We can also match any color of paint that you may desire, so if you are looking for the perfect color combinations, we’ve got you covered. Creating the perfect look for your space has never been easier due to our custom color work.
Techniques
In addition to more straightforward treatments like stain and paint, Wasatch Custom Cabinets offers a little something extra. Whether you prefer an intentional weathered or distressed look or lean more toward a clean and spotless appearance, we can help. Our creative professionals have just the right touch for applying these subtle wood techniques to suit the look you’re going for.
Finishes
We know it may be cliche, the finishing touch matters. Finish protects your cabinets and determines the impression they will give, not to mention control the amount of light that is reflected back into the room. From glazing and dry brushing to paint grade and all levels of sheen on your conversion varnish, Wasatch Custom Cabinets has a legacy built on details, and the perfect finish cannot be overlooked.
Styles
Your cabinets don’t all need to be uniform, unless you prefer them that way. That’s the beauty of customization: you get to choose. Consider such stylization as flat panel doors with seeded glass-and-bead style molding or a raised panel door with a lightly sanded finish and a heavy crown molding. It is your space, and we want it to feel entirely your own.
